Good Morning from #UAE! I’m very honored and absolutely thrilled to announce today the official launch of Emirates Literature Festival 2018! I was selected among a very few handful of bookstagrammers here in UAE to be a part of the @emirateslitfest team and to talk to you all about this very prestigious and exciting literary festival!😍 For those of you who saw my Instagram Stories couple of weeks earlier, you already saw the unboxing of this very impressive box that I received from them to be a part of their marketing team! The box was very meticulously customized to suit my specific interests and the books are absolute stunners too! ❤
The Emirates Airline Festival of Literature is one of the largest literary festivals here in this region and is held annually in Dubai, UAE! It is a not-for-profit organisation which supports and nurtures literature in the UAE and the region, through a programme of varied cultural initiatives. Today is a big announcement day for the Festival, as they will be announcing the author line-up! Sadly, I couldn’t go to the official launch party today. Last year, over 180+ authors and 30 countries were represented at the 2017 Festival!😍 As this time, it’s their 10th Anniversary, they have loads and loads of surprises waiting for you all.
The festival will be held from 1-10 March 2018. Ten days of fun and excitement – so follow their social media accounts and keep checking my feed as I will be back in January to keep you all updated on more details and announcements!
My box contained the following goodies:
📚Home Fire by Kamila Shamsie.
📚Wild by Cheryl Strayed.
📚Letters to Young Muslim by Omar Saif Ghobash.
📚Bookmark, Journal and Postcard by @gallery.one .
